Pull-down screens are designed for permanent installation.
They work much like a window blind. The screen below is shown
hanging from two large tripod stands. In a typical installation
the grey housing would be mounted directly to the wall.
Save money by purchasing a screen with dents in the metal
case or housing. You can hide the defect by building a wooden
structure around the metal housing. The wooden structure can
be painted or stained and/or decorated with moulding that blends
with the room. All pull-down screens listed on this site have
no damage to the white screen surface; however, there may be
some dents or scratches in the case or housing.
